HomeCost Radar

About HomeCost Radar

HomeCost Radar helps US homeowners understand what their home costs to run, what may need replacing, and how much to set aside — without fake precision or hidden assumptions.

How we’re different

  • Every number is explained. Each estimate shows its inputs, data source, data vintage, methodology version, and a confidence level.
  • Ranges, not false certainty. We show a low / most-likely / high range and tell you what would make it more accurate.
  • Reproducible. The same inputs, methodology version, and data snapshot always produce the same result.
  • Honest about limits. We never present a state-average rate as your exact utility tariff, and we never claim your home is “safe” without testing.

HomeCost Radar is a budgeting and planning tool. Estimates are not contractor bids, engineering assessments, inspections, tax, insurance, or legal advice, or safety certifications.
