We practice data minimization: we collect only what a feature needs. You can use every public calculator without an account and without your street address.

What we collect

• Account: your email and a securely hashed password (Argon2id). We never store your password in plain text.
• Home profile: ZIP code and the home characteristics you choose to add (type, year, area, systems, components). No street address is required.
• Estimates: the inputs and results you generate, so you can save and revisit them.

We do not collect or store: street address, phone number, payment details, government IDs, or utility login credentials.

What we never log

Passwords, tokens, full document contents, exact addresses, and private file URLs are excluded from logs.

How we use it

• To produce and save your estimates and personalize maintenance tasks.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service (privacy-aware, aggregate analytics only).

We do not sell your data, and no advertising or affiliate relationship changes how a number is calculated.

Cookies

We use an essential session cookie (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax) to keep you signed in. We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate page usage. Analytics receives page paths without query strings; we do not send calculator inputs, email addresses, account data, passwords, tokens, or other sensitive values as analytics events. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Your rights

You may request a copy of your account data or ask us to delete your account, home profiles, and saved estimates. Self-service tools are not yet available, so send the request from your account email to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.
